The charming house, which reflects the history and loving care of five generations, will make you feel totally at home the minute you enter its doors and provide you with a comfortable, relaxed and carefree stay.
A bit about accommodation and surrounds...
Far Niente offers self-catering apartments and is a historical landmark on Wilderness Beach, with a stunning panoramic view of the sea and only a few steps down to the beach. This charming property is an ideal base to explore the Garden Route and is also located 23.5 km from George Airport. Accommodation is offered in 3 separate apartments, each with its own entrance and access to a patio/terrace and garden. The garden, outside cold shower and direct access to the beach is shared space. Each unit can be booked separately or joined together, or the entire house can be booked for a large group of 10 adults (or 12 people—there are 2 dorm-style beds in the living areas that are only suitable for smaller children).
The main section, Whale View, is a sea facing 3-bedroom unit with 2 en-suite bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. The open-plan lounge and dining area have beautiful sea views and lead out onto the patio and garden.
Dolphin View is a sea-facing one bedroom unit, with a queen-size bed leading onto a covered verandah. The unit has a generous lounge/living area with dining room table and a dorm bed suitable for a child. There is a full kitchen and a bathroom and separate toilet.
Oyser Catcher, the smaller one-bedroom unit located in the middle section of the house, is ideal for a couple and consists of 1 bedroom with a queen-size bed, a small kitchenette, 1 bathroom, and a guest toilet. The bedroom is sea-facing and leads out onto a patio with a covered verandah with outdoor table and chairs, and a beautiful view of the ocean.
In addition, each unit contains free Wi-Fi access and TV. Well-behaved pets are allowed by arrangement at a cost, only when booking the entire house.
Far-Niente is 1 km away from Wilderness Village, where there is a well-equipped Spar shop, laundromat, post office, pharmacy, Information Bureau, and numerous small shops. There are also a variety of restaurants to choose from. The Garden Route Mall is 9 km away.
